Hello everyone. Hope you’re all doing well in these complicated times.
As a way to brighten up the mood, a quick note on our Kanto team’s event this past February. This time we decided to try something a bit different: a casual catch-up at one of Tokyo’s most beloved pubs, The Hub at Shibuya. The concept was simple: come anytime and enjoy a nice conversation with fellow scholars and alumni while having a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
We’re very happy with the response the event got: we were over 20 people at some point. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event. We truly believe everyone had a nice time. It was also great to see some new faces.
Unfortunately, we cannot hold events for the time being due to the new coronavirus outbreak because the safety of our members is our priority. However, we look forward to organising another catch-up once the situation has gotten better.
